Adventurous Weekend

This picture overlooking the sea, cloudy sky lighted by the rising sun was taken at around 6 30 am (figured is yours truly, Stuart, Tsuey Lin, Alex). We woke up at around 5am on a Saturday morning! to be in time for a glimpse of the sunrise. It is certainly not one of the things I would normally do....in fact hardly. Unfortunately on the day, the sky was so cloudy for any good view but it cleared up eventually later on the day. You can see we were posing nicely for the shot.

By the way, Stuart came up to Aberdeen from Stirling and it was really good to see him after so long. He looks younger than I last saw him 2 yrs ago :)

After the little trip around the sea side, we went home to continue our sweet journey in Slumberland.

Middle Pic: Alex, Stuart, T Lin, Jane and me.

We had dim sum for lunch together. After that, we journeyed on to a place called Forvie, a huge area of sand dunes. Forvie is located twelve miles north of Aberdeen. The drive there was pleasant as the weather was perfect. People on the trip were Alex, Stuart, T Lin, Jane and me.

While there, we were walking through fields and sandy areas. At one point it felt like I was in a desert...it's a whole new experience for me. I probably will try walking along the white sand of Tutong area when I get back to Brunei. Of course I'm only kidding. The heat will probably get to my brain and patience before anything.

The fine weather continued on Sunday. What a beautiful day it was. Seeing this, Stuart recommended going to a place called Torry- located at the south bank of Dee. It's just about 5 minutes drive away from where I stay. From here, you could see a picturesque view of Aberdeen. There is a golf course there called Balnagask Golf Course. Nearby there's a lighthouse which adds to the nice scenery of the place.
We were there for a while before Stuart returned to Stirling.

It was another good weekend!

Haha yeah...the umbrella is a wonderful invention.
I will definitely take some pictures when I'm back but I dunno if they will be suitable for use. Could do and will try though.

Dude I didnt realise you had updated ur blog with these photos....the scenery shots are well composed as you always find objects to lead the viewers eyes "in to" the picture thus giving it a 3 dimensional feel. You certainly have been reading recently. Welldone!

A little tip: try taking some colour shots during the summer nights. The warm hues will finish off your scapes to produce the award winning shots you deserve!!
